State Credit Union Celebrates International Credit Union Day

On October 21, 2021, State Credit Union will join over 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day. The theme of ICU Day 2021 is “Building Financial Health for a Brighter Tomorrow.”

ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members improve their financial health and well-being.  State Credit Union branches will offer information on financial literacy with MoneyEDU as well as free refreshments and snacks.

Jim Kinard, President & CEO of State Credit Union said, “We are pleased to base our operations on being our members’ champion.  Everything we do is for their benefit, all throughout their lives.  From a Youth Savings Account, to a car loan, mortgage, personal line of credit, all the way through retirement planning, we are in business to serve our members and we welcome the opportunity to help promote credit unions world-wide on this special day.

State Credit Union invites both members and nonmembers to visit our branches and celebrate International Credit Union Day.

This event is brought to you by Credit Union National Association and World Council of Credit Unions
