SAFE AND SECURE AT STATE CREDIT UNION

With all the gloom and doom in the financial markets these days, we thought you might like to know that your credit union is in excellent financial health. Because we are conservative in the way we invest and lend the funds entrusted to us by our member-owners, we are not suffering from the problems facing the mortgage and banking industries. It might be reassuring to know the following:

1. SCU has plenty of liquidity with nearly $40 million in overnight funds, an additional $60 million in term investments and unused lines of credit of nearly $100 million.

2. Your credit union has reserves and undivided earnings totaling approximately $53 million.

3. Year-to-date earnings exceed $2.7 million.

4. Our loan delinquency ratio is as low as it has been during the past 8 years.

5. We sell and transfer servicing of fixed-rate mortgage loans with terms of more than 15 years.

And, of course, your deposits are insured for up to $100,000 (up to $250,000 in IRAs) by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the United States Government.

  • The Payment Assistant feature will now display the biller category and phone number.

  • A multiple e-Bill sign up form saves you time. Click on any e-Bill icon from the Payment Center and view a complete list of your billers that offer e-Bills. You can then sign up for all of your e-Bills from one convenient location.

  • You'll have a new option of applying any biller changes you make to all of your scheduled and pending payments just by checking a box on the Biller Update screen.

  • Browser support will be provided for those browsers that are used by 95% of the U.S. population.

This upgrade will be automatic; you don’t need to do anything. All of your biller and payment information, including addresses, details, scheduled payments and bill history will remain in place.
