State Credit Union is in need of full time tellers. All applicants must be efficient, enjoy working with the public and have a professional attitude. Prior cash handling experience needed.

State Credit Union is seeking applicants for a Flex Teller. All applicants must be efficient, enjoy working with the public and have a professional attitude. Prior cash handling experience necessary.

3. Loan Officer -- Columbia

All applicants must have at least 2 years consumer lending experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

STATE CREDIT UNION NAMED ONE OF SC’s BEST PLACES TO WORK

The 2006 Best Places to Work in South Carolina survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) - South Carolina State Council, ranked State Credit Union fifth among employers throughout the state. The credit union was among only 15 companies honored in the program.

SHRM partnered with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and others in designing the program to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in South Carolina. Companies from across the state entered the competition. The selection process was based on an evaluation of employee policies and procedures and results of a 65-question employee survey.

The program was designed to encourage South Carolina companies to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.

“This award, along with the assessment findings report and the confidential survey results, will enable SCU to develop and implement the strategic steps necessary to continue to improve our workplace and service to our members,” says Merida Rabon, Human Resources Director, State Credit Union.

State Credit Union employs 223 people in 17 branches and administrative offices throughout South Carolina.
