Just present your card to the merchant, sign the receipt and go.   There’s no need to enter your PIN.  At gas stations, grocery stores and dry cleaners, just select “credit” on the keypad and sign your receipt.  The money is still deducted from your checking account.  For locations where a PIN is required, simply enter it and insert your card.
